Description
Artemisia afra — African wormwood, umhlonyane — is one of Southern Africa's most loved traditional plants: bitter, aromatic and bracing. For generations it has been brewed, steamed and tinctured through winter and the turn of the seasons, a household staple across the region.
Ours is extracted in natural sugarcane alcohol and water, capturing the plant's full aromatic bitterness in a few drops.
Suggested use: 20–30 drops in a little water, up to three times daily for short periods. Not for long-term use. Not for use during pregnancy; check with your healthcare practitioner if you take medication.
