The product, in detail
The colour-changing flower
Blue now. Violet when the lemon lands.
Pure butterfly pea flower powder for electric-blue drinks, baking and desserts. Add citrus and watch the colour move through violet towards pink.
Pure flower
50g jar
Blue → violet → pink

Butterfly pea is a climbing plant native to tropical Asia. Its deep violet-blue flowers are dried, then milled into the fine powder in this jar.
Inside
One flower. Nothing else.
Dried Clitoria ternatea flower, finely milled. It is also known as blue matcha, though it contains no tea leaf.
The trick
Citrus changes everything.
The powder begins blue. Lemon, lime or another acidic ingredient turns the same drink violet, then pink.
Use it in
Anything pale enough to play.
Lemonade, smoothies, yoghurt, oats, icing, cocktails, desserts and baking all give the colour room to show.
Citrus does the finale.
Start with the powder in your food or drink. Add lemon, lime or another acidic ingredient last. The blue shifts through violet towards pink, with no added colouring required.

Put it where colour can play.
Stir it straight into a pale drink, smoothie, yoghurt, icing or batter. Keep it blue, or bring in lemon or lime at the end and watch violet arrive.
- PourLemonade, sparkling water, smoothies and cocktails.
- SpoonYoghurt, oats, chia pudding and desserts.
- BakeIcing, batter and other pale mixtures where blue can stay bright.
Anything to know first?
If you are allergic to flowers or legumes, start with a small amount and watch for a reaction. Research during pregnancy and breastfeeding is limited, so speak with a healthcare professional before using it.
