Light the tip of the smudge stick until it catches flame. Gently blow out the flame to allow the herb to smolder and release smoke. Move the smoke around your space, yourself, or your objects with slow, intentional motions. When finished, place the stick in a fireproof dish to let it extinguish naturally.
