Artimisia is one of the oldest medicines known to mankind. The Latin name references Artemis Goddess of the hunt. She carries the energy of Courage and gives the body the courage to let go of what no longer serves it. This explains why she is the go to herb in almost every country on the planet in her different variations. She is known as Wormwood in Europe, but this is African Wormwood. Umhlonyane/ Lengane- are Xhosa, Zulu and
Sotho names for this herb- meaning Courage.

Directions: 1 tsp size sprig per person (5g) per cup to be taken 3 times a day for 4 to 5 days at a time with a two day break in between. Then start again. Add lemon and honey to taste if needed.
Congestion: Steam with a handful of this herb in a pot. Boil till green and fragrant. Sit over the pot in a comfortable position and cover head and pot to make a tent of steam. Inhale.
Then bathe with the herbs and rest.
