Description
Cracked cacao beans from the Peruvian Amazon. Cacao nibs are chocolate in its simplest form: the bean, shelled and broken into crunchy pieces, with nothing added.
Mayan and Aztec cultures prized cacao as "the food of the gods" and traded the beans as currency. Expect a bold, bitter dark-chocolate flavour and a satisfying crunch.
How to use
- Sprinkle over oats, smoothie bowls and yoghurt.
- Use in place of chocolate chips in bakes and trail mix.
- Blend into smoothies. 5 to 20 g a day is a good amount.
Ingredients: 100% crushed cacao beans.
