Shea Butter
‘Vitellaria paradoxa', commonly known as the Shea tree. Shea butter is a fat extracted from the nut of the African Shea Tree. We source our shea butter from a co-operative of rural women in Ghana.
Shea butter is a natural moisturiser with a creamy texture, rich in vitamins.
It nurtures fine lines, wrinkles, scars, stretch marks, and uneven skin tones. It relieves
itching and toughness of stretching skin for pregnant womben. It also strengthens and regenerates the skin by enhancing collagen production.
Organic Baobab
Pressed from the seeds of an African Giant, the ’Adansonia’. The oil of the Baobab is a versatile, nourishing and moisturising elixir with a unique composition of fatty acids, anti-oxidants and loaded with vitamins.
Used for nurturing skin tone and elasticity, stimulating cell regeneration, reducing fine
lines, treating eczema and psoriasis, as well as nourishing and moisturising dry and damaged skin.
Marula
‘Sclerocarya birrea' is Africa’s miracle oil. This
cold-pressed oil is rich in antioxidants, essential fatty acids and amino acids, as well as
having anti-inflammatory effects. It is effectively used for softening and smoothing fine lines and supporting oily acne-prone skin.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E is an antioxidant, an essential nutrient with anti-inflammatory properties. Vitamin
E helps support the immune system, cell function, and nurture overall skin health. It is also beneficial for reducing UV damage to skin.
Argan oil
Argania, often referred to as “liquid gold”, is a treasure sourced from the kernels of the
Argan tree which is indigenous to Morocco. The fatty acids in the oil make it immensely
hydrating for skin and hair. It's an antioxidant, a nurturer & protector, effective also for wound-healing and scars.

Ritual
Place a small amount of NUNA Body Butter in your palm, the amount depending on what the use is for. Rub your hands together to melt the butter with your body heat and then apply to face, neck, and body.
Scoop a spoon of NUNA Body Butter directly into a warm bath and enjoy the nurturing alchemy sensation. Apply butter on wet skin or hair as the oils will naturally capture the water droplets and deeply hydrate the skin and hair. Feed scalp and hair by applying butter as a mask, from roots to tips, can also be used as a protector against stripping shampoos.
The weather impacts the stability of natural skincare products. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Suitable to take on hikes, just take note that the consistency will change, depending on the change of environment. Don’t fear - everything is usable just be cautious when opening and resealing.
If your product changes, you can reheat the butter, letting it sit in boiled water until melted , give it a good stir & allow the butter to settle back to its original smoothness.
