The name Layla has two origins with the first being Scandinavian meaning "blessed", and the second being Arabic meaning "night". I feel the name holds quite a dreamlike and playful quality to it too, which is why I feel it came through to hold this piece...
A beautifully unique purple flourite sits at the heart of this pendant. While weaving this piece it took me to purple skies and brought through the themes of gentleness, dreamtime and creativity... and so I pray that it offers its wearer joy, creativity, heartful play and inspiration upon their path...
