Kelp is a source of vitamins and minerals such as iodine, potassium, magnesium and iron.

Iodine is an important element in the production of thyroid hormones that regulate the body's energy production, and promotes good growth and development. It helps to regulate many body functions by constantly releasing a steady amount of thyroid hormones into the bloodstream. The thyroid is also responsible for managing our internal bio-rhythms and body clock.
