A 3:1 CBD to Δ9 oil made for animals at half the strength of the human range — about 0.5mg of cannabinoids a drop — and dosed by body weight rather than by feel.
Why it exists
Mammals share the system
Dogs, cats, horses and other mammals have an endocannabinoid system as people do, which is the reason a cannabinoid oil for animals is a coherent idea rather than a novelty.
What differs is scale. A cat is a fraction of the weight of the person who might otherwise be taking this, and an oil made at the human concentration would be hard to dose accurately at that size.
The strength
Half of what the others carry
This is the one bottle in the range that is deliberately weaker. A 10ml holds 100mg of cannabinoids where the human 10ml oils hold 200mg — about 0.5mg in a drop rather than 1mg.
The ratio is three parts CBD to one of Δ9, so a 10ml bottle is roughly 75mg of CBD to 25mg of Δ9. There is Δ9 in it, in a small proportion, and that is worth knowing before it goes anywhere near an animal.
How to give it
By body weight, with food
Under 10kg — a cat or a small dog — 1 to 4 drops, 2 or 3 times a day with meals. 10 to 30 kilograms, 4 to 8 drops. Over thirty, six to ten.
Start at the low end of the band and increase gradually. Where an animal is unwell, on medication, pregnant or very young, the dose is a conversation with a vet rather than a table.

Brilliant product
My boerboel, who is 12 years old, has bad arthritis in his one elbow. The "cannamil" oil, as I call it, has helped reduce the pain significantly and he has a new lease on life! He runs with the other dogs on our small holding, plays with sticks again and manages a full walk every afternoon. Really quite exceptional since none of the veterinary products were making much of an impact. Am totally impressed !
